It seems that I like to add 'art gallery quality' objects to community lots. That's how the Sims in my games behave anyway.
Beach umbrellas, pergolas, even tree guards bring Sims to a full stop so they can meh-stare or blow kisses at said objects.
It annoyed me, so much that I stopped adding many decorative objects to lots where non-actives might visit.
"Hey Sims, I paid for those objects, and I want to use them without you getting all weak-in-the-knees when I try to pretty-up your town."
That didn't work, they kept on viewing.
This mod should stop Sims from viewing objects, except in Art Gallery Community lots.
What I've done:
*Modified the View Objects ITUN taken from the GameplayData.package by setting the following 'advertised' numbers to zero:
Fun (default 5), BeInMarket (default 100), BeInChineseGarden (default 150), RoleTourist (default 100), RoleExplorer (default 75), RoleSpecialMerchant (default 75), BeInNectary (default 75), Orientation (default 75), ServoBot (default 10), BeInWasteland (default -400).
*No changes were made to BeInArtGallery, 'advertised' remains at 200.
Conflicts:
This mod will conflict with any mod that uses - ViewObjects_GameObject ITUN 0xA38991F8A6AFE8E2
Compatibility:
This mod is Base Game compatible, made with patch 1.67
Extract the file and add it to your Mods > Packages folder.
