Thank you to all of you for your comments - I DO read them and yes they DO make my day.
I must admit before I made this I had a look round on the internet to see if it had already been done (I could not find it) so I think it may well be the only one. I am amazed no-one did it before, and am super pleased that all the Star trek fans can now have a door for their amazing starship lots.

Not sure how I missed this. I'm glad you mentioned it in your Walnut pocket door thread. This will get quite a bit of use in my 'hood. Bring on the recolours, folks!

I dunno when the first sliding door appeared in sci-fi tv or movies, it might be fun to research that, but Star Trek made it popular long before Star Wars came out, take that you stupid wookies! So Fish, that's why you made a Star Trek sliding door!

I just started getting back into Sims 2 and I must say, this is just what I was waiting for. Thanks. BTW, this may be asking for much, but I was wondering if you could make a centered two-tiled version?

A good mod, but the door seems to open too slowly. my sims always clip through the door before it's even half open.

Can the speed of the animation be faster? like twice the current speed? if so, how would i go about making the change in SimPE?

The speed on the door is the same speed as on the game double doors; it uses that anim string. If you were to make your own door anim it would go faster.

Unfortunately, that's miles above my abilities.
Still a great door though.

Some recolors could be good. I've been watching the original series on Netflix and the doors to the bridge are red.
