The skating interaction in particular is a great idea. Thanks for making this!

@Arsil can you look into why my sim when rollerskating gets in the buff, no idea why this is happening, thanks in advance

That's on purpose. Do you mean that roller skating shouldn't count as strolling?
I guess you may be right. Edit the STBL for your language to change the name
and description of the buff to make them more generic if that bothers you.

Again, much awesomeness here! I was wondering if there was a way to have them "go for a bike ride" or some such as well.

By "in the buff" do you mean naked?

Oh, is that what he meant? ^^
I have no idea, the mod simply adds the roller skates (CASP shoes) to the outfit.

Default SkateHere mod
This is not tested very much, but seems to work fine.
Maybe I should include it with the main mod, but meh.

It should work like GoHere or JogHere, just click on the ground and select the "Skate here"
interaction. This allows to learn the skating skill (very slowly), at first Sims will go slow then
once they reach level 1 they will skate at normal speed.

Of course it requires Seasons and was built with/for game version 1.67.

Note: since wearing and removing skates takes time, I've put a minimal distance
(xml tunable) to make it worth it to activate the interaction. Sims can't use it
autonomously because they can't click on the ground, to put it simply ^^

Some kind of occults can't use it (the interaction won't show up clicking on the ground).

This is a standalone mod, it doesn't require the "main" one.

Sorry for breaking the rules here and making a request. You mentioned in the mod description the method that is used for taking the dog for a walk. You cancelled this line of project because it requires a lot to be specified as the destination of the stroll. Now I would actually love to have that option to direct my Sim to visit a lot on foot. Is this viable to have this as a part of this wonderful mod or would that be a separate one?

I don't think I've understood your question, so I'll play it safe and answer anyway.

You want the stroll interaction to give you the option to choose a destination instead
of wandering "randomly"? Going around without a fixed destination was the main
appeal of this mod, at least for me, otherwise one could simply click on a building
or on the ground and use Visit or Go Here.

Maybe you mean visit a lot using one of the special walking styles?
It's probably not what you are asking for, but the mod uploaded in this comment above
http://modthesims.info/download.php...521#post5051521
does something like that (it's an alternate GoHere if I recall correctly) for roller-skating.
Another way, that you probably already know, is to use WalkHereInStyle,
an option of NRaas DebugEnabler when you click on the ground,
that let you choose what walking style to use. Not a mod (well, it is a mod!)
and not super handy for regular gameplay but I though it was worth mentioning.

When I use "Go Here" or click on a building and choose "Visit (lot name)", depending on the distance, Sims will either choose to run or take the car, bike or whatever vehicle they have.
So what I am essentially looking for is a mod that gives me the option "Visit (lot name) By Foot" and I thought it might be possible to have this as an additional option for taking a stroll: stroll around randomly or take a stroll with a destination.
That's why your cancelled out part in the description got my attention, because that's how taking the dog for a walk works, you click on the dog, chose "Go For A Walk" and then a list of possible destinations pops up and then you take the dog there.

Oh, I see. I don't play the game much and sometimes forget the simplest things.

Check if NRaas GoHere helps with that. It's just a wild guess, I've never used it.

I really don't want to get back to old mods unless it's for a serious bug-fix.
I'm using the little motivation I got for new things.

No problem. I was only asking on the dim chance that you might already have done this and then scrapped it later. It is still a wonderful mod that allows me to enjoy the scenery without it becoming all blurred

Edit: And after all this whining, I feel embarrassed, because apparently I haven't really played the game either for quite some time: I am able to walk to a lot, it's just that I never really used the "Go Here" command very often myself and simply always used "Automatic" while I can force a Sim to walk with that, too.

This is an awesome mod for athletic sims! I had 3 trying to master athletics at once and it made it so much easier to just click them and tell them to take a jog. They'd go for their jog after breakfast and then come back ready to do something else.
