Welcome to New Crystal Springs! I've always loved the CrystalSprings neighborhood terrain, but I've felt it lacked something - a few more roads, some water. So I decided to do something about that, and this is the result.

This neighborhood is fully decorated, but otherwise it is completely empty - no Sims or lots, in other words. New Crystal Springs has a small town center and residential area, with farmland in the outskirts of the map. I've made room for a total of five farms. In order to reach these areas, you will probably need a camera mod - I suggest GunMod's. I've provided a link below.

Custom content

Custom content does not ship with neighborhoods, sadly, so you will have to download this yourself. I've used Criquette's Decorative Road Pieces Set and Basic Motorway Set extensively, so you would need those unless you want the roads to end abruptly. You will also need Criquette's Road Bridges Set for the bridge. You would probably also want Numenor's Maxis "Lost & Found" Waterfall & River.

Waterfall & River by Numenor

Install

To install, simply open the N154.rar file and put the folder named N154 into your My documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Neighborhoods folder. Make sure to install the custom content before you open the neighborhood for the first time; if not, the custom decorations will not show up.

I've also attached the SC4 Terrains file in a separate .rar. This is optional; you won't need this to play the decorated neighborhood. It will however come in handy if you want to decorate the neighborhood from scratch yourself or edit the terrain with SimCity 4.

I have all the expansion packs and stuff packs installed, so you will probably need all of them for this neighborhood to show up correctly in your game.
