They likely find these threads by googling their TS2 problems and getting results from Mod the Sims. It happens to me a lot too.

Not sure if someone said it, but there are radiators that came with (?) I'm pretty sure those can warm sims up, at least they can "warm up" and I'm not sure if the ceiling fans cool sims down...does anyone know?

Ceiling fans [Mansion & Garden pack] cool the room your Sim is in, so if a Sim is about to get a stroke send him inside and turn the ceiling fan on.
Both of them require Seasons EP to function properly.
