This user has the following games installed:

Sims 3
Default new clothes for sims 3
ok this is a stupid question but how do i buy new clothes for my sims. meaning if im playing a family and i want to get a new outfit for my sim how do i do it? or are they just limited to the outfits you plan for them when making the sim? for instance i have a family whose baby grew up and i want to get her some new outfits, what to i do?

Just click on a dresser and choose Plan Outfit. You can go to Create a Sim and pick out outfits there. No need to purchase clothes from a store as in TS2.
