Default College from home?
I know that there are several mods for college and home, including the counterfeit degree. But I was wondering if there was a mod/hack that would allow the sim to do college from home. I like giving my sims their education, but don't always like sending them away and playing at a separate household for them. They don't have to do everything they would in a regular college home, like uni npc's entering your home/dorm, but they would still attend class like normal and graduate normally.

If you're going to use that mod, I strongly suggest you get TwoJeff's 'college adjuster' which will allow you to advance the semesters, set the majors and a lot more:

Also if you want to make an actual working dorm in the main hood you can do that as well, complete with dormies and mascots. These days though I only use Squinge's and left the dormie experience for Uni proper. It's there as an option though.

This pack you've sent link to: "University required. Apartment Life compatible" is written to be for Sims 2. What about the 3rd Sims? Will it work or should I look for something else?

Mods and custom content that are made for The Sims 2 will not work in The Sims 3 or The Sims 4. I have heard that such files may even cause problems with the other games.
