Default "Can I Run It?" Scans Not Reliable!
We've noticed a large number of users who use "Can I Run it?" sites and scans to determine if their computer is capable of running the Sims games. These sites are NOT reliable and are NOT to be trusted as a source of information.

Such sites often detect your hardware incorrectly, and always use incorrect system requirements for Sims games, especially The Sims 3.

If you would like to know if your computer is capable of running the games well, check out the System Requirements for TS2/TS3 sticky. If your computer meets recommendations there, then you are likely going to have a good experiencing playing the game. If your computer meets bare minimum requirements but does not meet recommendations, do not be surprised if your game lags or even freezes/crashes.
