Regarding Milkshape
Ok well, I've decided to start using milkshape. I was using Blender so far but it seems milkshape is inevitable. So I was wondering where I could download rigs for it. And some of the required addons for sims 3. And also some links to tutorials for it. Should this have been in WCIF instead? I just thought modders will know more about modding tools.

Basically any tutorial would do it, just skip the blender part (Because blender really is only the bit we CC creators use to mesh, since I personally find it really hard to do this in Milkshape) and then make it 'game ready' so to speak in Milkshape. Now there are a few ways of doing it. I usually say, would you like to learn the 'old way' or the 'new way' of creating CC? (With that I mean before TSRW was a thing or after... yes I've seen those days, they were horrifying! The numbers... the resources... :P) So i know what to link to you
One thing I'll have to say with Milkshape, you'll want to have Meshtoolkit. For the plugins, align normals (http://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=139859) is your plugin-to-go, it will avoid a lot of issues if used right To get rid of any neck seams (and to basically connect it to the actual sim's head, so your sim doesn't look slightly beheaded) you want to check out sims2's uniMesh tool: http://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=122399

Oh thank you so much. I have found most of what I wanted. The rigs for the animations are all that's left. I have an adult rig that was supplied with an old tutorial but the child toddler pets etc. I can't find.
