Michelle, the Werknothom Windows and the Werknothom Column that come with Apartment Life are not related to the Werknothom Door. I think that Maxis has called them the same way for convenience only. In fact, leefish created a lot of time ago the Werknotham Window and Door (to note the change of a letter in the name) that are repository to the original 3-tile Werknothom Window: http://modthesims.info/download.php?t=366353.
Personally I'm creating for a long time a complete set based on the original Werknothom Door that includes doors, windows, arches, elevators, fences, gates, stairs,..., but the project is not yet finished. However, the last year I made a default replacement of the Werknothom Door in which also the glass of the door is recolorable: http://modthesims.info/download.php?t=519823.
Anyway, your recolors are fantastic and can be applied also on the default replacement I made; I just wanted to inform you about the difference between the Werknothom Door and the Werknothom Windows & Column
